This professorship recognizes outstanding achievement in scholarship and teaching in disciplines related to business law, including mergers & acquisitions, securities regulation, corporate finance, and other related business law fields.  Candidates should have exceptional records in research, teaching, and service and have attained a J.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree.
