South Texas College of Law Houston (STCL) invites applications from both entry-level and experienced faculty for one or more full-time, tenure-track positions beginning in the 2026–27 academic year. Also, STCL invites applications for visiting assistant professor (VAP) positions beginning in the 2026-27 academic year. STCL’s VAPs typically serve two years in a program designed to assist individuals to transition to academia by providing mentoring, teaching experience, and scholarly support.

While all candidates for our open tenure-track and VAP positions will be considered, we particularly seek candidates interested in teaching Contracts and Commercial Law (including courses such as Payments Systems, Secured Transactions, and/or Sales). THE UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY ROSENBERG COLLEGE OF LAW invites applications to fill three regular title series tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, beginning in August 2026. The positions will be 9-month appointments corresponding with the University’s fall and spring. The College welcomes applications from candidates across all areas of law and particularly from persons whose teaching interests span multiple subjects. Although my UT Law colleague Greg Stein is perhaps most well known for his work in the area of real estate law (development, finance, land use, etc.–see his SSRN page here), of late, he has been focusing increased attention on issues at the intersection of technological innovation and economic enterprise.  I have been interested in and engaged by this new twist to his research, thinking, and writing.  This post promotes two works he has completed that occupy this scholarly space, the first of which was recently published in the Brooklyn Law Review and the second of which is forthcoming in the Florida State University Law Review.
